STEAM Activity Celebrating Pi Day

The 4th and 5th grade classes conducted a STEAM activity celebrating Pi day as students calculated Pi measuring items such as plastic cups, frisbees, glue sticks, and paper plates. Students were placed in groups and measured the circumference and diameter of each item and learned the history behind Pi. Parents also provided various dessert pies and pizza pies as a way to celebrate Pi Day.
